Everyone has been waiting for new pieces of news regarding The Sims 5. Everyone is asking themselves when is the release date of the new game from the franchise?
According to some sources, the game might come later than expected
The Sims 4 has made over $1 billion from the first time it got launched back in 2014. The game met a lot of new players only in 2018. It’s true; it was not the same hype that was caused at first. However, The Sims 4 is still a profitable game. And because of this, the Sims 5 might come a bit later than we expected. Sims 4 has gotten several patches and many expansion packs in time, and they were all a success when it came to playing the game.
The game had a lot of success
We’ ‘ve all seen how EA wanted to make things clear when it came it its success, from the release to the public of their financial support. According to the report, the game Sims 4 was a success due to all the constant updates and the additions to the game. They also said that they are planning on releasing at least 20 new contents and expansion packs to the Sims games, all in 2020.
FY 2020 will begin in April 2019 and will have its end in March 2020. This means that we will get official info regarding the sequel. It’s good to know that until March 2020, everything we get from the internet, will be rumors about the game, and not actual facts. Unless we get an official statement, we’re left with thoughts.
If EA starts to work on Sims 5, then we will probably get a teaser this year, during E3. In case this happens, we’ll get to see a release maybe next year.
