When the Clash of Clans team at Supercell teased about the major April update, we were expecting big things coming to the game. And we were not wrong!
Almost a month ago, the Clash of Clans team talked about a few quality of life improvements that will be added in the April update. Recently, they revealed some “big reductions” that will be applied to both time and costs for “troop training, spell brewing, and laboratory and building upgrade.”
The highly detailed thread with all the numbers in terms of reductions can be found on the official Forum. Now let’s check out the short version below.
Costs Reduced for Troop Training & Spell Brewing
Some troops will be cheaper to train and spells cheaper to brew.
These get costs changed overall: Wall Breaker, Wizard, Dragon, P.E.K.K.A, Minion, Hog Rider, Valkyrie Golem, Witch Baby, Dragon, Electro Dragon, Rage Spell, and Freeze Spell.
These get costs changed at different levels: Balloon (at levels 1-3), Healer (at level 5), and Bowler (at level 3 and 4).
Upgrade Times for Laboratory
Some of the troops and spells will also get a faster upgrade time:
Barbarian, Archer, Giant Goblin, Wall Breaker, Balloon Wizard, Healer, Dragon, P.E.K.K.A, Baby Dragon, Minion, Hog Rider, Valkyrie, Witch, Bowler, Lightning Spell, Healing Spell, Rage Spell, and Jump Spell.
Upgrade Times & Costs for Buildings and Defenses
Both building and defenses get faster upgrade times and lower costs at certain levels. Here are the ones that get the two improvements:
Army Camps, Town Hall, Elixir Pump, Elixir Storage, Gold Mine, Gold Storage, Barracks, Laboratory, Cannon, Archer Tower, Wizard Tower, Air Defense, Clan Castle, Hidden Tesla, Spell Factory, X-Bow, Dark Elixir Pump, Dark Elixir Storage, Dark Barracks, Air Sweeper, Bomb Tower, and Inferno Tower.
Only Eagle Artillery and Siege Workshop will get faster upgrade times, with the costs remaining the same.
Expect to see the changes in the April release, and until then the team will add more details about other things to be introduced in the update. Check back here for more information!
