Path of Exile is a game that uses the Diablo series as one of its major sources of inspiration. The game received positive feedback, and, at the moment, it was considered a sort of Diablo 2 sequel since Diablo 3 came with a different type of gameplay.
Delayed release
Path of Exile was expected to come out sooner. However, there were some certification issues and Grinding Gear had to deal with those before being able to release the game for PlayStation 4. The initial launch date was back in December 2018. Then, the release was delayed to February 2019 and now it appears that the date has been pushed to March.
The PlayStation 4 version will support all the content available, which includes the revamped skill tree and the Synthesis Expansion, as well as all the content updates which were released for PC and Xbox One. The PS4 version will also support PlayStation 4 Pro enhancements.
