Electronic Entertainment Expo, also known as E3, is an annual conference presented an organized by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) where developers display their newest computer and video games-related products. For three days straight, all of the major companies in the industry are revealing announcements, holding launches and revealing all of the information fans are waiting for all year round. The surprise of the E3 2019 is that Netflix will be present there, and it will reportedly come with games.
This year’s E3 will take place starting with June 11 and will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Previously, the event was exclusively open for developers and people related to the industry, but starting with 2017, the conference is now open to the public, as well.

Rumors have been swirling around regarding Netflix’s interest in game developing, despite the company’s denial of them. When asked about the title of their discussion, representatives of the streaming platform responded with: “Bringing Your Favorite Shows to Life: Developing Netflix Originals into Video Games.” The announcement certainly serves as a confirmation to the speculations. However, Netflix stated that they have no intention in “gaming,” but in “interactive storytelling.”
In 2018, Netflix launched its first official mobile game, based on one of their most popular shows. The app, named Stranger Things 3: The Game, will most certainly be a big topic of discussion at Netflix’s E3 panel. The company also revealed on Twitter that the show will include more exciting things.
Fans excitement can’t be contained anymore, so rumors and speculations started to arise all over the internet. Some believe Netflix will launch a GLOW wrestling game, while others expect something Black Mirror-related.
