Xiaomi’s Redmi officially revealed their brand new K20 and K20 Pro smartphones, featuring some fabulous specifications and fantastic, competitive pricing. The sub-brand announced that these devices would soon be released worldwide, but it did not specify whether the phones will launch under the name of K20 and K20 Pro all over the world.
The upcoming Redmi K20 will feature the brand new Snapdragon 730, while the K20 Pro will come with the gaming and performance killer, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 processor.
A new report as per a source says that the new K20 and K20 Pro will be released as the Poco F2 and Poco F2 Pro in other countries, due to the incredibly numerous leaks and rumors about it. As said by the new source, the Poco F2 will be the successor of recently launched Poco F1. The Poco F2 will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor, and it will have a max version named Poco F2 Pro which will feature the Snapdragon 855 chipset, as the K20 Pro.
Xiaomi has, in fact, released a teaser in Europe just recently. The teaser suggested that the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro may be released under the name of Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro. However, this is just a speculation, and it might not be correct.
As we already know, the upcoming Redmi K20 and the K20 Pro will feature a 6.39-inch Full-High-Definition Plus (FHD+) AMOLED display, with the resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, 4000mAh battery. There is also possible for a triple camera setting with a 48-megapixel, an 8-megapixel, and a 13-megapixel lens, with the front camera of a 32-megapixel sensor.
The devices are expected to be released soon; however, we should all take this rumor with a pinch of salt as neither Xiaomi or Redmi hasn’t officially confirmed the claims.
