Mortal Kombat 11was highly expected and finally launched on April the 23rd. The game studio behind the popular game, NetherRealm, has announced the release of more DLC characters and unveiled the trailer for Shang Tsung, Mortal Kombat 11’s first apparition of these characters. Shang Tsung will be available starting with June the 18th for early access.
Mortal Kombat 11 revealed Shang Tsung DLC trailer
The veteran Mortal Kombat boss villain finally made a comeback, and it appears to be everything fans and players wanted and even more. Shang Tsung can now transform into a younger form of himself, and this is not all!
The soul-stealing sorcerer can again take the identities and movements of fellow characters, but this time around, he is also being served by a group of ninja that are not yet introduced into the gameplay.
Shang Tsung has skills in his depository that can shortly turn him into Rain, Ermac, Reptile, Smoke, sub-Zero, Noob Saibot, and Scorpion. Once he takes on these identities, he’ll perform the character’s trademark attacks before rapidly turning back into his original form.
But wait, there’s more! Shang Tsun can also steal the identity of the combatant he is fighting against if he attempts a particular attack, and owns an extremely violent set of moves with which he executes other fighters.
Three more fighters revealed in the Shang Tsung DLC trailer
The short Mortal Kombat 11 Shang Tsung DLC trailer discloses three more characters that will come to Mortal Kombat, namely Sindel, Nightwolf, and guest fighter Spawn. Besides this, the other two characters will be revealed at a later date. The trailer might have depicted these two unnamed fighters, as there was present a sound of a chainsaw, and visible blood spatters.
Between his witty remarks, exclusive attacks, and Fatality, Shang Tsung is quite the walking reminder of earlier Mortal Kombat gameplay. NetherRealms Studios also used this trailer to announce the release of a classic ninja costume pack featuring Scorpion, Noob Saibot, and Sub-Zero.
