To run SFC, follow the step-by-step guidelines below:

1. Open Command Prompt:

• Click the “Windows” icon to open Start menu
• Type “cmd” in the searchbar
• Right-click “cmd” or “Command Prompt”, and then select Run as administrator.

2. Run SFC Command

Here’s how to do this:

• In the Command Prompt window, input “sfc /scannow”
• Hit the “Enter” and then allow the command to run.

3. Scan Result

After the scan process, the scan result would be displayed. Basically, the result would indicate one of the four situations below;

• no error.
• operation not successful.
• errors found and fixed.
• errors found but not fixed.

If the error persists, after fixing the error(s) found, or the scan result indicates “no integrity violation” (no error), you can try the next fix.

Solution 2: Run DxDiag

To run this procedure:

• Open “Start” menu.
• Type in “dxdiag” in the search box.
• Locate and click on “exe”.
• Find and click the “Run 64-bit DxDiag” option (if any).
• Wait for the process to run.
• Select “Save All Information” (as a “.txt” file).
• Assign the file a name.
• Exit window, and then send the saved file to EA here.
