Galaxy A02 is a Samsung phone from the affordable range, expected in the subscription offers of mobile operators.
Certainly, entry-level phones with Android are no longer such a big compromise on the performance side, models like the Galaxy A02 coming with a MediaTek MT6739 chipset comparable to last year’s Snapdragon 450 solution. The amount of 2GB of RAM does not leave much room for maneuver for those accustomed to switching frequently between Android applications, but at least the application running in the foreground should have an acceptable level of performance. Rather, the biggest trade-off is photo performance, screen resolution, and non-essential issues such as the type of finishes used and the thickness of the case.
In this case, the Galaxy A02 comes with a 6.5-inch LCD screen and HD + resolution that does not benefit from the clarity of the image. However, the modest resolution also has advantages, such as lower power consumption. If you take into account the capacity of the 5000 mAh battery, obtaining a battery life of three days is plausible for normal use. Unfortunately, the absence of Quick Charge technology translates into quite long waiting times for charging.

Unfortunately, for photos Samsung provides only what is strictly necessary, Galaxy A02 having a 13MP main camera and 5MP front camera, cut from the top of the screen. Not very useful, the Macro camera is provided with a 2MP sensor.
Internet access is via 4G LTE and Wi-Fi N. There is a 3.5 mm jack output for analog headphones, but also Bluetooth 5 support for wireless.
A phone with appreciable dimensions and weight, Samsung Galaxy A02 can be ordered in Denim Black, Denim Blue, Denim Red and Denim Gray color versions. Unfortunately, the price and availability in stores were not communicated by the manufacturer.
