Galaxy M12 comes with a 5000 mAh battery and is addressed to a category of users for whom battery autonomy is a decisive criterion in choosing the next smartphone.
Samsung has announced the launch of the new Galaxy M12 in Europe, the new Galaxy M model offering great autonomy at a lower price.
Galaxy M12, delivered with 90Hz Infinity-V display
“Since its launch in 2019, the Galaxy M series has been designed to support the needs of users everywhere. The newest addition to this series, Galaxy M12, is designed to inspire the lives of our young users. The large 5000 mAh battery has adaptive fast charging technology to provide extended battery life. Galaxy M12 will really set a benchmark in this price category at the level of strong experiences, ”said Tiberiu Dobre, head of IM Division Samsung Electronics Romania and Bulgaria.
Galaxy M12 comes with a design similar to the Galaxy A42 model and an octa-core chipset from the Exynos 850 series.
The new smartphone comes with a quad-camera system organized in an approximately square-shaped ornament, respectively, with the screen cut at the top according to the “drop” pattern. An important indication for the lower price range, the screen leaves a fairly wide “chin” at the bottom, which indicates a lower technical solution.
The phone comes with a fingerprint sensor mounted on the side frame and a glass case finished with different textures, reminiscent of the old Pixel 3 series from Google.
The IPS screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz measures 6.5 inches and is housed in a housing measuring 164 x 75.9 x 9.7 mm and 221 grams.
The package includes a 15W AC adapter, ensuring that the phone is charged in about two hours.
The list of features is completed with a 48MP main camera, followed by a 5MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP macro camera and DoF sensor. The front camera is an 8MP model, with support for HDR capture and 1080p filming.
Samsung delivers Galaxy M12 with Android 11 system and One UI Core interface, bundled with exclusive services such as Samsung Health, Galaxy applications and Smart Switch. The new smartphone will be available starting at the end of April.
