The print process itself is being monitored with the help of AI. The filament flow is monitored and even corrected automatically due to the AMS, which stands for Automatic Material System.
The AI-controlled motion system, accompanied by the robust hardware, makes the process of 3D printing faster than what many other printers are capable of. The speed is about 120mm/s.
The AMS also stands out for being able to keep hygroscopic materials dry. The spools will be identified by RFID chip so that the X1 will be aware of what exactly is loaded in the machine.
