Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will No Longer Provide Resources by Supply Drops

Many gamers are the happy players of a recently released game, the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Even though is it quite appreciated for the small amount of time that was available for testing after the release, one curiosity keeps some users up at night. The Supply Drops, also known as loot boxes, are missing. Many Call of Duty older generation were equipped with this feature, but now it seems to be gone. Neither Activision or Treyarch has mentioned something about the Supply Drops in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 since it was released and now we know why.

A Call of Duty player and Reddit user, GrandPaladin 22 mentioned that his friend had some questions about the game, so they contacted Activision Support in order to get them answered. Along with other curiosities of theirs, they also wondered when the Supply Drops would be included in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

A rep from Activision Support answered them, and they mentioned that the items would be given to players in a different way. Along with that, it seems like some microtransactions will still be available during this version of the game.

What might also be the case is that the rep from the customer service is not familiar with the full story behind this situation.

Right now we are waiting for a formal response from Activision, but until then we should be happy with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 even though it does not provide Supply Drops.

Do you still want to have those Supply Drops introduced or do you think is time for a change? Maybe the replacement the developer is thinking about will facilitate a better gaming experience.
