This year is close to its end, bringing some amazing games to keep you occupied during the holiday season. But you also get the time to check out the 2019 games that have already been announced. Check out this list with the games that will be released in January and February and this one – PS4/Xbox One Games For 2019 – Part II – where we also added a few games that are still TBA for 2019.
This year, we had God of War and Red Dead Redemption 2, but the next year also brings some notable titles we cannot wait to see (most of them also playable on PC)!
January 2019
The last week in January is reserved for Kingdom Hearts III release and Resident Evil 2 Remake, both going live on 29 January.
The first one – Kingdom Hearts III – is the anticipated game of 2019 Q1 and we know why: it is a sequel to Kingdom Hearts 2 and it will end the saga! If you’re a fan of characters from Disney, then this is the game for you! It will be available on Xbox One and PS4.
The remake of Resident Evil 2 takes the horror game from the 1998 and remakes it – you will see the same story and environment, but it comes with a new gameplay. You can play this survival game on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
February 2019
Trials Rising comes with a motocross series that includes online multiplayer, and a local multiplayer tandem where two people will control one bike. Expect for tracks like Mount Everest and the Eiffel Tower. The game will be available on 12 February, and playable on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch.
Dead or Alive 6 continues the fighting game with the familiar faces you’ve seen so far, adding more combos, realistic visuals and new mechanics to help you in combat. The game will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC beginning with 15 February.
Also on 15 February, Jump Force introduces a fighting game for manga fans. Expect to see heroes from Dragon Ball, Naruto, One Piece and even Death Note! You can play it on PS4, Xbox One, or PC.
Anthem will be released on 22 February and you can play it on PS4, Xbox One, or PC. It is BioWare’s ambitious project, where it introduces players in dangerous missions on a hostile alien planet to explore the world with other players online.
Metro Exodus will also be released on 22 February. Players will control Artyom and will get to explore the biggest game in the series. There’s plenty of mutated being to kill and the choices you make will affect the game’s path. You can play it on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
Check out the second part which continues with 7 more titles announced for 2019.
