Fallout 76 “Cheaters” Can Reverse Their Bans By Writing An Essay To Bethesda

Since Fallout 76 came out, Bethesda has banned lots of so-called “cheaters” who used third-party software, such as mods and cheating programs. According to some recent reports coming from these Fallout 75 “cheaters,” Bethesda is willing to reverse the bans for those players who are going to write a 500-word essay on “Why the use of third-party cheat software is detrimental to an online game community.”

An active member of the Fallout Reddit community, who goes by the name of JuiceHead on YouTube, informed that several banned players received emails from Bethesda to announce them that their accounts have been banned due to cheating activity.

Several gamers came out to say that the bans were unprompted and Bethesda erroneously accused them of using third-party cheating software such as mods and trainers. But those emails coming from Bethesda also included a surprising section that would allow “cheaters” to reverse their bans.

“If you would like to appeal this account closure, we would be willing to accept an essay on ‘Why the use of third-party cheat software is detrimental to an online game community,’ for our management team to review,” Bethesda mails read.

“The fact that we have three instances of this email across three different posts leads me to believe it’s pretty legit,” informed YouTuber JuiceHead after he spoke with the affected Fallout 76 “cheaters.”

Even though that’s ironic from Bethesda’s part to ask “cheaters” to write an essay on “‘Why the use of third-party cheat software is detrimental to an online game community” to reverse their bans, we already know that the famous game studio has been cheeky on different occasions in the past.

In the meantime, until we get an official statement from Bethesda, Fallout 76 “cheaters” keep on stating that the studio banned them on false premises.
