Fallout 76 To Receive A New PvP Mode: Survival

A new game mode comes to Fallout 76 as Bethesda, the game’s developer, struggles to “save the day” and make the fans of the famous franchise stick with the latest title in the series.

Fallout 76 launched last year and disappointed the fans. The gamers consider it a massive failure for Bethesda, but the games studio is not giving up and hopes that the new Fallout 76 PvP mode, Survival, would make the fans reconsider regarding the title.

“In last week’s Inside the Vault, we briefly mentioned a new, more dangerous mode, which is separate from the main game and has fewer restrictions on player-versus-player (PVP) experiences, will be coming to Fallout 76 in a future update. We’ve dubbed this new mode ‘Survival,’ and we’re excited to share a few more details with you today. Additionally, we’d also like to give you a little more information on our next major patch,” said Bethesda in a blog post.

New Details on Fallout 76’s Survival PvP Mode Revealed

The Survival PvP mode in Fallout 76 would please those gamers who would like a more challenging Fallout 76 experience. The new game mode would come with “greater challenges, fewer restrictions, and more incentives when it comes to PVP combat,” as Bethesda said.

“Survival mode is not for the faint of heart! All players, except your teammates or event groupmates, are automatically flagged as hostile toward one another by default. There are no “invitations” to PVP combat in Survival mode. You can attack other players without restriction from the first shot you line up, meaning every encounter you have with a stranger could turn deadly in the blink of an eye,” Bethesda revealed.

The new Survival PvP mode would come in Fallout 76 as a Beta, at first, somewhen in March. In the meantime, the Fallout 76 Patch 5 would by the end of this month, and it would bring several changes, including hotkey improvements for AZERTY keyboards, bug and glitch fixes, and many more enhancements, as Bethesda reported.
