Since Piranha Plant reached Super Smash Bros Ultimate, many reports have flooded the Internet, discussing a Piranha Plant bug that crashes the game. Nintendo, as it reported, acknowledged the reports on the issue but did not say if it’s working on a hotfix to tackle and eliminate it.
Nintendo Replied On The Piranha Plant Bug Reports
Since the first reports on the Piranha Plant bug in Super Smash Bros Ultimate have popped up on social media and forums, Nintendo was silent for a few days. Now, the Japanese entertainment company came out with new information on the issue.
“We are aware that some users are posting about possible issues with the latest Super Smash Bros. Ultimate update. After extensive testing, Nintendo has not been able to confirm that there is an issue, although we will continue to investigate and monitor the situation,” Nintendo stated.
The statement from Nintendo is not clarifying much. They acknowledged the reports on the issue, but they did not find any Piranha Plant bug, which is weird, whatsoever. Also, since they did not discover what’s causing the crashes in Super Smash Bros Ultimate after the DLC, they said nothing about a possible hotfix to tackle the error.
Super Smash Bros Ultimate Received Piranha Plant Plus A Bug
Right after the latest DLC which added Piranha Plant to Super Smash Bros Ultimate came out to the Nintendo Switch game, some gamers reported unexpected crashes, reportedly, linked to Piranha Plant character.
While more and more reports come out showing that a Piranha Plant bug is behind the recently observed crashes in Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Nintendo still doesn’t know what’s causing them, so there is no information on a possible hotfix.
In other news, five more DLC packs are going to roll out shortly. One of them would add Joker from Persona 5 to Super Smash Bros Ultimate. We don’t know yet which other fighters would come to the successful Nintendo Switch fighting game.
