Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most sought-after games. While many rumors suggested that Cyberpunk 2077 would come out with Battle Royale mode and microtransactions, the devs stated that none of those is going to happen. Also, Cyberpunk 2077 would not be an Epic Games Store-exclusive title.
Cyberpunk 2077 Would Not Come With Battle Royale and Microtransactions
On Twitter, one user asked Cyberpunk 2077 devs if there would be microtransactions in the game. “Will there be microtransactions? Also getting so hyped for the game,” a Twitter user asked. To that question, CD Projekt Red replied ironically, saying “micro what?” That suggests that Cyberpunk 2077 would not come with microtransactions.
Also in reply to another question regarding the Cyberpunk 2077 Epic Games Store exclusivity, the devs admitted that there wouldn’t be anything like that. Besides, Cyberpunk 2077 would not boast a Battle Royale mode, either.
Cyberpunk 2077 Would Boast Multiple Companions In The Game, Including Some Female Ones
“Dear devs, Will we have a female sidekick in 2077? Just like Jacky. Now since the gameplay was as female, Jacky was male but if we choose to play as ma ale will we get a female version of jacky? Plz, answer asap this question is haunting me for long,” Brianaxu asked the Cyberpunk 2077 devs.
“Jackie is one of the companions that will just tag along during some missions. And he is just one of the few. To answer your question – there won’t be a female version of Jackie, but for sure there will be female companions that will show up during your playthrough,” Cyberpunk 2077 team replied.
Well, at the moment, Cyberpunk 2077 devs are not planning to add microtransactions and Battle Royale mode in the upcoming title. However, that might change, eventually, especially since we don’t know when Cyberpunk 2077, currently rumored to be under development for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and next-gen system, would come out.
