Nintendo Wants To Revive a Long-Forgotten Game

Imran Khan went on by saying that he’s going to reveal some inside information about Nintendo, a rumor that might be significant for Kingdom Hearts 3 fans who wait for the Square Enix’s game to come out on Nintendo Switch.

“Let me hint at something, I guess. That is a thing that I’m going to write up at some point as soon as I get some more sources on it. But there’s a game that’s thought to be dead that Nintendo’s reviving, and it’s not one that people would expect. It was very much a title that was dead and buried – very officially canceled,” said Imran Khan, the Senior Editor at Game Informer, during the Kinda Funny Games Daily show.

While we don’t know anything about which game Nintendo wants to revive, Khan added that he “heard enough about this game” that he’s “almost sure it exists again.”

Kingdom Hearts 3 Is Unfeasible on Nintendo Switch

Later during the Kinda Funny Games Daily show, Imran Khan debated the Kingdom hearts 3 on Nintendo Switch topic, a subject that is of significant interest for Kingdom Hearts series fans that would love to see the latest title in the franchise on Nintendo’s console.

“Last I heard, there was a talk between Nintendo and Square Enix about what they could do with Kingdom Hearts 3. It was deemed unfeasible to get Kingdom Hearts 3 on the Nintendo Switch,” Imran Khan said. Apparently, the game is highly demanding and, even though Switch supports Unreal Engine 4, Nintendo would have to rework it and lower the game’s visual quality for performance.

Imran Khan added that he knows nothing at this moment about any Kingdom Hearts 3 remastering to make it available for Nintendo Switch, so the title might not come out for Nintendos’ console.
