Call of Duty’s “Gun Game” Mode Will Reach Fortnite Battle Royale

According to a recent leak, a favorite game mode from Call of Duty series will reach Fortnite Battle Royale. More precisely, the leaks refer to Call of Duty’s “Gun Game” mode.

The new game mode from Call of Duty has been spotted by some data miners who analyzed the files of the recently launched Fortnite v7.40 update. In some files of the game, there appear many references to “Gun Game” mode. Besides, there is also the following text: “Earn eliminations to make your way through all of the weapons to the end!”

“‘Gun Game’ – Earn eliminations to make your way through all of the weapons to the end,” reported FortniteBR on Twitter.

Different from other leaks, these are pretty obvious as they’re based on files of the Fortnite v7.40 update. However, you should take it with a grain of salt until Epic Games reveals some official details on this topic.

Call of Duty’s “Gun Game” Mode Will Reach Fortnite Battle Royale

While the data miners revealed that Call of Duty’s “Gun Game” mode would possibly reach Fortnite Battle Royale, they did not find out when is that going to happen. Also, nobody knows at this moment if the new game mode would come to Fortnite as a time-limited event or as a standalone mode such as Save The World.

Most likely, Call of Duty’s “Gun Game” will be a time-limited game mode in Fortnite Battle Royal. Also, it might come in the next update for Fortnite since the files are already there in the latest patch.

In Call of Duty, “Gun Game” mode is “a wager match game mode that consists of a set number of players competing in a free-for-all style game. As players rack up kills, they get different weapons. The first person to achieve a kill with every weapon, wins, or, if the match is on a timer, the player with the most kills wins,” Comicbook reports.
