Pokemon Go prepared many events for the last days of February: the Limited Research event in which players get to catch Clamperl, and the chance to encounter Gen 3 Legendary Latias in the special Raid Weekend event. The Clamperl Limited Research event isn’t the only thing keeping players busy.
Let’s see the last events in February in the following roundup.
We will see the Eon Pokemon between 22 and 25 February in Raid Battles and even get the chance for an encounter of a Shiny Latias:
Date + Time
Friday, Feb. 22, 2019, at 1 p.m. PST (GMT −8) to Monday, Feb. 25, 2019, at 1 p.m. PST (GMT −8)
Latias appeared with its twin Latios last year in May. The Eon Pokemon will return in a special Raid Weekend as well, but the date hasn’t been yet announced by Niantic.
The Last Events in February: Limited Research, Raid Weekend, Special Meltan, Gen 4 Palkia
The research event this month will take place on 23 February and run for three hours, just like the Community Day event. Players will receive special Field Research tasks when they visit PokeStops and end with the encounter of the Pokemon Clamperl, which you can evolve into Huntail or Gorebyss. Here is the schedule from Pokemon Go Live:
Event Date + Time
Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India: Feb. 23, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. UTC (GMT +0)
The Americas and Greenland: Feb. 23, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8)
Asia-Pacific: Feb. 24, 2019, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. JST (GMT +9)
And if that’s not enough to keep you moving, Niantic added the special Meltan event that will last until March 4. Players get the chance to encounter a Shiny Meltan when they open a Mystery Box.
Finally, until 28 February, Gamespot’s Kevin Knezevic notes that Raid Battles will also give players the chance to find the Gen 4 Legendary Palkia.
