If you ever felt like you could need a friend while playing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time, we have some good news for you. A team of modders also believed that the game could get a bit lonely, and, with a bit of coding, the game can now be played up to 14 other people.
The project began last year, and while it isn’t completed yet, it is evident that they have made quite a lot of progress. There is already a video of two players playing together, exploring and doing their own thing. The video can be watched here.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Online also known as OoT Online is the project of a small team that wants to make the famous single player game become a multi-player experience, available online so that friends can play together.
You can follow the development of The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Online here. The blog details all the stages of development. The first post was published back in 2018: “Hi everyone, this blog is dedicated to posting updates about the development of OoT Online. We’ll try to update as often as we can when we reach points we wish to show off. OoT Online Team – Ideka, Glank, MelonSpeedruns, Denoflions, Psi-Hate. At the moment PvP fights are not enabled, and players an only battle against the AI at the moment. Nonetheless, the team behind The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Online plans to implement that in the future as well. They also want to allow up to 15 players to play together at the same time.
