You will get the first PlayStation Network ID change for free
If you changed your mind and you want to modify it again, after your first free ID change, a tax of CAD 9.99 will be required to change it again. However, the price of the service is $4.99 per ID change instead, if only you are a PlayStation Plus member.
In addition to that, if they do not like the ID change, PS4 owners can always revert to their original one as long as the terms of service of Sony are not violated by it. This service is free no matter how many times you want to reverse your ID. Even if you are not using your original ID at the moment, Sony says other PlayStation 4 users will not have the ability to take it.
How to change your PlayStation Network ID
If you want to change your online ID on the PlayStation 4 all you need to do is select “Account Management” from the PS4’s Settings menu, then “Account Information,” then “Profile,” then finally “Online ID. After entering the online ID, you would like, follow the on-screen prompts to complete the ID change.
The compatibility of the feature is full with any game released on or after the 1st of April in 2018. However, a minority of games has not been tested so they might not have support for ID change.
