Original article: The latest update in Clash Royale is set for June 3rd and will mark a very important change in how the Clash Royale will continue to continue to balance changes for the cards in Clash Royale.

What’s New In Clash Royale?

While the team is constantly updating and adding more content like new cards, game modes and challenges in Clash Royale, it’s time to take balance updating slower, adds the recent blog post on the game’s official blog:

“After a year of monthly balance changes, we now feel that the game is in very healthy state, with the exception of a few outlying cards in need of a larger rework than smaller balance tweaks.”

What Will Change In Clash Royale?

Every month you’ll see fewer cards getting balanced, but the team will instead focus on “bigger changes to existing cards,” similar to what they did to the Royal Giant rework from 2018.

Clash Royale June 3rd Balance Updates

The June Balance Changes will focus:

  • Elite Barbarians
  • Rascals
  • Arrows
  • Barbarian Barrel

Elite Barbarians

Damage: +18% Hit Speed: -13% (1.5sec -> 1.7sec)

The Clash Royale team explains that the Elite Barbarians should be used not as a jack-of-all-trades but as a special “counter to backline support Troops.” He will be more powerful in certain strategies, but weaker to swarms.

Rascals

Boy Hit Speed: -13% (1.3sec -> 1.5sec)

The win rate is too high and needs a small nerf which is applied to the Tank, which has the purpose of protecting the Girls and not deal too much damage. If the Girls are defeated, his damage output will be low and won’t be a threat when he’s the last one standing.

Arrows

Projectile Speed: +37% (800 -> 1100)

Arrows now have a chance against swarms like Minion Horde with the increase of the projectile speed.

Barbarian Barrel

Damage: -10%

The answer is again high win-rate, even after nerfing the Barbarian Hitpoints.
