League of Legends 9.12 PBE: Aatrox, Ashe, Caitlyn, Irelia, And More Champions Got New Balance Changes

League of Legends’ PBE is constantly changing and today we’ve got a few more champions getting new buffs or nerfs. Some of the changes are relative to previous 9.12 PBE changes, while others are compared to the live values. Let’s check out what’s new in PBE and remember that next week we’ll get 9.12 and the new Mordekaiser with it – if it all goes according to plan!

Balance Changes 9.12 PBE

We’ll start with the bad news – and that’s Nerfed champions in PBE:

Aatrox

There were other changes to Aatrox in PBE, but now according to Riot Repertoir’s tweet, Aatrox will get to keep his Revive:

“Looks like we’re going to keep the Revive around for now on Aatrox and just go with a couple of more general nerfs. We’ll keep it in the idea bank as learn more about what a tolerable resting win rate for him is on this version. Probably doing something like this for 9.12:”

Cooldown changed to [24-12 across champion level] – from [15]

Healing bonus changed to [self healing only] – from [all incoming healing]

Irelia

Cooldown increased to 18/17/16/15/14 – from 14/13/12/11/10

Nautilus

Damage in early levels lowered to 80/130/180/230/280 – from 100/145/190/235/280

The following champions have been Buffed:

Ashe

Cooldown lowered to 14/11.5/9/6.5/4 – from 15/12.5/10/7.5/5

Caitlyn

Base AD increased to 60 (from 58)

Riot Captain Gameplay believes that this will raise Caitlyn’s winrate by 1%, as intended.

Karma

Her unempowered Q and E get small buffs:

Slow potency increased to 35% – from 25%

Movement speed duration increased to 2.5 – from 1.5

Mana cost lowered to 50/55/60/65/70 – from 60/65/70/75/80

Lulu

Shield increased to 80/115/150/185/220 – from 70/105/140/175/210

Mana cost lowered to 60/65/70/75/80 – from 60/70/80/90/100

The following champions have received both buffs and nerfs:

Sylas

Sylas is being tested in PBE and has other changes (which you can check here). The new changes are:

Heal lowered to 70/90/110/130/150 – from 70/95/120/145/170 — (however, compared to the Live values, it still is a slight buff with +10 in all levels: to 70/90/110/130/150 from 60/80/100/120/140)

Heal AP ratio increased to 50% – from 40%

Shield value lowered to 80/115/150/185/220 – from 80/120/160/200/240 – (the same thing here, compared to the Live values, it’s still a buff: to 80/115/150/185/220 – from 60/90/120/150/180)

Shield AP ratio increased to 100% (from 90%)

Cooldown increased to 18/17/16/15/14 – from 18/16/14/12/10

Yuumi

Base HP increased to 480 – from 432.36

Mana refund lowered to [30-160] – from [40 – 160]

Shield AP ratio lowered to 30% – from 40%

“Enemies now gain an assist on Yuumi when damaging her attached ally. This will prevent things like execute while safely attached.”

“Dash is now interrupted by ANY immobilizing CC (Same as Yasuo E now)”

Adaptive share changed to [5/7/9/11/13 (+4/7/1013/16%)] – from [5/9/13/17/21%]

“She seems to be on the pretty extreme end for snowball and mastery (currently seeing +16% winrate growth over 50 games lul). Also has some arcane Cut Down tech that is just a bit way too much better than anything else – which we are gonna nerf by upping her HP…”Riot Captain Gameplay.

Zac

Damage increased to 25/40/55/70/85 – from 15/30/45/60/75

Knockback changed to [250 units from target] – from [400 units from Zac’s center] – so units hit by Zac will be knockbacked away from him 250 units.

Now will only drop max 1 blob per bounce when hit

Corrupting Potion

According to Riot Sotere, Corrupting Potion is getting tested in PBE and will suffer some more changes: “Testing out a different tactic for Corrupting Potion sustain down / nerf task. Bit more exploratory but may find wins,” adding that the cool thing about the nerf is that it would increase the pressure to be used and poke enemies right away.

Check our League of Legends page to learn more about the PBE changes! We should be back tomorrow with fresh news right from the balance team.
