Finally, some fantastic news! Netflix is allegedly planning to resume production on Stranger Things season four on Thursday, September 17, based on The Hollywood Reporter.

While Netflix hasn’t formally announced a release date yet (most probably due to the erratic nature of the continuing pandemic), we could predict that the earliest we’ll be visiting season four will be July or August 2021.
Filming for seasons has regularly taken between seven and six weeks to complete, while four weeks are usually required for post-production, based on Collider.
A summer release date would also make sense considering Stranger Things’ track record — season one came outside in July 2016, season two was released in October 2017, and season three came out in July 2019.
