Who said that RPGs are dead, that there’s nothing new that devs can bring to the genre? Elden Ring, a game that came out almost two years ago, proved to anybody that it’s still possible to have fun experiences while playing an RPG.
Bleed weapons have a special place in the hearts of Elden Ring players due to the fact that they can build up blood loss until the enemy gets destroyed by an explosive spray of blood. This is contrary to what you might expect, as if you haven’t played the game before, you could be tempted to believe that bleed weapons are able to cause the enemy to lose health in a slow and painful manner.
There are plenty of interesting bleed weapons that you can get your hands on in Elden Ring, so let’s cut to the chase:
Meteoric Ore Blade
The Meteoric Ore Blade can easily be compared to the Moonveil, and it is able to inflict both magical and physical damage, meaning that you will kill two birds with one stone if you use this weapon!
It’s very easy to get your hands on the Meteoric Ore Blade. All you have to do is head over through a room with sarcophagi and creatures with many legs in order to retrieve it from a chest. If you acquire it early, you should expect to grind rune farms to meet substantial attribute requirements.
The Poleblade of Eleonora
The Poleblade of Eleonora can be obtained from Eleonora and in the Second Church of Marika. However, you need to keep in mind that this weapon requires significant dexterity and arcane proficiency.
The Poleblade of Eleonora is capable of inflicting both fire and physical damage, similar to the Rovers of Blood blade. The Bloodblade Dance skill is able to combine the twin blades’ blur into a lethal sequence that can be both horrifying and enchanting.
Winged Scythe
The Winged Scythe is also a lethal and powerful weapon in the Elden Ring, as it can be used to lacerate your enemies. Also, we need to remember that we’re talking about one of the most powerful weapons in the game for a Faith build.
You can add this scythe to your catalog of weapons in the game easily and quickly once you head over to the Tombsward Ruins, then invest runes in the Desterity and Faith.
Morgott’s Cursed Sword
Morgott’s Cursed Sword is a slash weapon, and the unlock location is this: Enia at Roundtable Hold. The skill of the Cursed Sword is Cursed-Blood Slice, as it can sever arteries and cause massive blood loss to the enemy.
You need to kill Morgott in the game in order to have a chance at getting your hands on the Cursed Sword. However, it won’t be an easy quest at all.
How about you? What are your own favorite bleed weapons in Elden Ring? The game surely has a lot to offer, and the more you play it, the more you can discover!
