Ubisoft Canceled This Week’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Live Event

Once again, Ubisoft is facing technical problems preventing the arrival of the Damais the Indifferent, an epic mercenary who was supposed to inaugurate the first Assassin’s Creed Odyssey live event.

Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is the latest installment in the popular franchise, which rolled out on October 5th of this year on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows. The game was well-received by the community, but Ubisoft is facing some server issues that forced the company to postpone the first Assassin’s Creed Odyssey live event.

Ubisoft canceled this week’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey live event that would’ve added Damais the Indifferent

First scheduled for October 16th, the first mercenary live event for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is still pending. On Twitter, Ubisoft explains that the technical problem preventing its deployment in the game has yet not been solved out, so no events will take place this week.

However, no problem was reported for the events concerning Epic Ships, as last week’s event did take place. Next week, we can expect to see “The Tyrant,” a ship built by the Korinthians, land on the open sea, which will “redefine the naval war for Sparta” according to several rumors.

Spooky’s Creed announced the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey live event cancelation on Twitter

“Remember Damais the Indifferent? So far we’ve had no success in tracking him down, so, unfortunately, there won’t be a live event this week. We’re working towards a solution to address an issue that prevents the mercenary live events from appearing as soon as we can. Stay tuned,” announced Spooky’s Creed on its official Twitter page.

As for the upcoming “The Tyrant” ship, the same Spooky’s Creed announced that it should arrive in the Epic Ship Live Event of next week.

“The Korinthians, inventors of the trireme, will soon send a ship called ‘The Tyrant’ on its maiden voyage. Rumor has it, this ship will redefine naval warfare for Sparta. Someone should test that theory when the Epic Ship Live Event returns next week,” Spooky’s Creed said on Twitter.
