As revealed by the gameplay trailer, Gears POP! follows the franchise’s story and characters but its gameplay resembles Clash Royale, one of the most successful Battle Royale titles for Android and iOS, developed by Supercell.
Even more, the in-game map’s composition is very similar to that of Clash Royale, as gamers have to destroy the central unit of the rival player after defeating the adjacent towers that defend it.
