Gears POP! Would Come Out Inspired By Clash Royale

Gears Pop! was one of the novelties of the last Microsoft press conference at E3 2018 and also one of the most mysterious productions presented at the event. Now, several months later, a part of the development of this upcoming mobile game has finally been revealed, which will mix weapons and elements from the Gears franchise with Funko Pop dolls in what looks like a fun and friendly PVP video game inspired by SuperCell’s Clash Royale.

The presentation of the game and the release of the first gameplay trailer has been carried out by the leader of The Coalition and the leading developer of the game, Rod Fergusson and Tyler Bielman, respectively.

The teaser served to review some of the critical aspects of the title, which will offer the coverages, explosive combats, and the renowned characters of the Gears franchise created by Epic Games. However, it would come out with a touch of real-time strategy inspired by the famous Clash Royale mobile game.

Gears POP! Would Come Out Inspired By Clash Royale

Gears POP! would allow gamers to create different strategies and train specific heroes and villains in accordance with the plan the players have in the mind. As revealed by the gameplay trailer, Gears POP! follows the franchise’s story and characters but its gameplay resembles Clash Royale, one of the most successful Battle Royale titles for Android and iOS, developed by Supercell.

Even more, the in-game map’s composition is very similar to that of Clash Royale, as gamers have to destroy the central unit of the rival player after defeating the adjacent towers that defend it. It includes unique skills and weapons, such as the Alba Hammer, which will help players to cripple the enemies defense towers easily.

We still have to wait some time before the developers roll out the Gears POP! game for mobile devices. According to some rumors, the game would come out somewhen in 2019.
