Google Project Stream Offers Testers A Free Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Copy

Google Project Stream is the giant Internet company’s venture into the world of game streaming. The Project Stream testing phase commenced in October this year, and now Google has a special offer for new testers – everyone who joins the Project Stream testing phase and plays for one hour between now and January 15th will get a free Assassin’s Creed Odyssey copy for PC.

However, the offer is only available across the US, so if you reside in another country, sorry, but you won’t be able to test Project Stream to grab a free copy of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

Ubisoft is also attracting new testers with a special offer. The company is giving away 1,000 Helix Credits, the in-game currency, for every tester. Every tester who plays Assassin’s Creed Odyssey for at least one hour on Project Stream would get a free copy of the game linked to his/her Uplay account, as both Uplay and Google accounts are required for project Stream testing phase.

If not spent, those 1,000 Helix Credits won’t carry over the full Uplay-linked game the testers will get if they meet the conditions presented above. However, testers can use the Helix Credits to buy stuff in the game which will carry over to the free game, along with game saves.

Project Stream is Google’s venture into the universe of game streaming. The project is indeed ambitious and has the final goal to allow people with low-end devices to play any modern game right in Google Chrome via Project Stream, of course.

For the time being, Project Stream is only compatible with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey but, remember, the Google’s game streaming platform is just in its testing phase. According to the giant Internet company, the final version of Project Stream would be available with a whole bunch of new games.
