iOS 12.1.2 Update Is The Worst One Apple Has Rolled Out In Years

Trying to tackle a legal dispute with Qualcomm, which caused many iPhone models to be banned from sales in China and Germany, so far, Apple launched iOS 12.1.2 update. However, this one is the worst update Apple has rolled out in years, and, according to several reports on social media such as Facebook, Twitter, and Reddit, iOS 12.1.2 is messing up LTE connection on iPhone devices, that among other problems.

China and Germany banned several iPhone models from being sold in stores due to a legal dispute between Apple and Qualcomm over a technology that, allegedly, the Cupertino-based company “copied” from the US-based chipset manufacturer and implemented in iPhone smartphone without a license.

Qualcomm won in China and Germany, so Apple had to seize the selling of iPhone 6, 7, and iPhone 8 models, among others. But, to tackle the accusations and recommence the selling processes for those iPhone devices, Apple launched iOS 12.1.2 update.

Unfortunately, Apple did not polish the new iOS 12.1.2 update enough to clean it up of all the bugs and issues. Accordingly, iOS 12.1.2 is now causing severe problems to every user in the world who downloaded and installed it on iPhone devices.

As reported by dozens of users, the new iOS 12.1.2 update is messing up with the LTE connection and makes it impossible to send and receive messages, while voice calls are also affected.

The majority of users affected by the iOS 12.1.2 are from the US and Canada, but many from Europe, India, and South America have also reported unusual iPhone behavior after they installed the update.

If you haven’t installed iOS 12.1.2 just yet, try not to do that, and wait patiently for the release of the next iOS version, iOS 12.1.3. Most likely, Apple will speed up the launch of the new version to deal with all the bugs in iOS 12.1.2 faster.
