In about a month we’ll have the Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona. The MWC 2019 would be the world’s largest technology event where several brands are preparing the reveal their new devices. LG is one of them, and, according to recent rumors, LG G8 might launch at MWC 2019.

All the rumors pointed to the CES 2019, but it seems that the Mobile World Congress 2019 will be the event chosen by the South Korean brand to present its new high-end smartphone.

As reported by Android Authority, the tech company will present its high-range device during the week of the event. Android Authority also mentions that Xiaomi will also introduce a new smartphone during the MWC 2019, which is another reason why the launch of the LG G8 could be anticipated to grab a lot of attention.

None of the presentations have been confirmed so far, so we will have to wait for the official announcement from both LG and Xiaomi to confirm these rumors.

Possible technical specs of LG G8

As far as the specifications of the LG G8 are concerned, we don’t know much about the upcoming smartphone. According to the few leaks emerged so far, LG G8 will boast a camera with 3D sensor, while it won’t come out with 5G support.

In addition to that, the next South Korean company’s mobile phone is expected to have the latest in mobile technology. LG G8 would boast Snapdragon 855 processor, 6 or 8 GB RAM, and 128 or 256 GB of internal storage. It is also rumored that it will have a total of four cameras similar to the current LG G7.
