We have excellent news for Nintendo fans out there! Announced for some time already, Mario Kart is going to reach smartphones this year. Finally, the wait is close to ending, and we’ll be able to enjoy Mario Kart Tour, Mario Kart’s mobile version, in 2019.
At the moment, Nintendo did not reveal more details about the game. Also, we don’t know when the mobile version of Nintendo’s Mario Kart would come out. Anyways, Mario Kart Tour would come to smartphones this year, and we expect it become another popular game for mobiles soon after its launch.
Nintendo America went to Twitter in February 2018 to announce that the mobile version of Mario Kart would roll out for Android and iOS in 2019.
“The checkered flag has been raised, and the finish line is near. A new mobile application is now in development: Mario Kart Tour! Mario Kart Tour Releasing in the fiscal year ending in March 2019,” said Nintendo back then.

According to the announcement, we’re close to the Mario Kart Tour release date, so we should expect more details to come out during the upcoming weeks. Anyways, we hope for a successful Mario Kart version for smartphones.
The first Super Mario Kart launched in 1992 on the SNES systems. In 1996, Nintendo rolled out a revamped version of Mario Kart for N64. This variant, dubbed as Super Mario Kart 64, was the second-best selling game of that year, surpassed only by Super Mario 64.
The Mario Kart universe is vast, but users particularly loved the Mushroom Cup, an in-game tournament, and the Luigi Raceway, which is the first track in the game.
