Fortnite 8.30 Update Is Available With New Content, Features, And Improvements

Fortnite got a new update on its famous Battle Royale Game – Epic Games released Fortnite 8.30 patch which is now live on all the platforms. This is an extremely important patch even if the update number does not really shows it.

The update offers to the game a new respawn mechanic and a new time-limited event called Buccaneer’s Bounty which is now live.

Akin to the respawn stations created in EA’s rival battle royale game, Apex Legends, Reboot Vans – a recently disclosed feature, now live in Fortnite – gives you the ability to revive fallen partners during a game match. How does it work? When a teammate dies, you’ll have to collect their Reboot Card which they drop as they are eliminated. No matter which teammate picked the card up, any member of the crew can take it to the Reboot Van and revive the fallen mate.

However, in any mode that already has respawn activated like solo matches, large-scale LTMs or others, vans can’t be found.

Fortnite 8.30 Update came out with new features

Unlike in Apex, respawning in this way in Battle Royale does not leave you entirely empty-handed, but returning with a Common-rarity pistol in ammo, 36 ammo, and 100 wood. The Reboot Van goes on cooldown for two minutes after is used and can be found throughout the entire map, as well as at every major point of interest.

Epic’s event Buccaneer’s Bounty, previously mentioned, is another source of attraction this week. The event will run until April 15. Epic will show a different limited-time mode to play each day during the event, there will be daily challenges to carry out and rewards to unlock for all gamers, as well as treasure maps which will appear more often during matches.

The first challenge is already out and consists of visiting pirate camps in different matches. In another new mode update, the Fly Explosives LTM which Epic says that it integrates the explosive fun of the High Explosives LTM with the Jetpack, the only weapons you will find are explosives, and Jetpacks which will every now and then spawn as Floor Loot.

Epic has made multiple bug fixes and UI adjustments alongside the new updates. Players will be able to soon take part in week 7’s challenges which are set to arrive on Thursday, April 11 and slowly enabling them to unlock Season 8’s Legendary Ruin Skin.
