Assassin’s Creed Red Could Be Launched in 2024; Features Revealed

There is a lot more going on behind the scenes of the next Ubisoft releases than meets the eye! Yes, the Assassin’s Creed Mirage game will be available the next month, but how about some more fun? In addition to the more stripped-down version of Mirage, there are presently two additional big AC games that are being developed. The first one is rumored to include Assassin’s Creed Codename Red, which is an open-world role-playing game that is set in feudal Japan and was developed by Ubisoft Quebec. The other one could be the Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe, which was developed by Ubisoft Montreal and is a darker take on the series that focuses on witch hunts in Europe during the Renaissance. That’s very remarkable, don’t you think?

Today, we are going to go deeper into the specifics of Assassin’s Creed Red and find out what content could be introduced in the game.

Assassin’s Creed Red Release Date

According to Tom Henderson, a trustworthy Ubisoft source, the release of Assassin’s Creed Red is currently scheduled to take place during the holiday season of 2024. The tipster also expects that the game will be released sometime in the early years of 2024.

Assassin’s Creed Red’s Plot and Features

Henderson reiterates prior claims that Assassin’s Creed Red would have two main characters, a man samurai and a female shinobi/ninja, that provide unique gameplay. That’s really intriguing and inspirational! And just imagine how well that would blend within the tale that will reportedly unfold in two different time periods. Sleek!

It is thought that the male samurai was modeled by the historical person Yasuke, who was one of the first Black samurai to be chronicled. In addition to this, it is stated that the character is a refugee from Africa. Regarding the female character, it is far too soon to speculate on her appearance or her abilities at this point. We were unable to uncover any significant rumors.

The Assassin’s Creed Red is also believed to place a heavy emphasis on stealth and may even borrow certain features from the Splinter Cell series, such as the skill to hide in shadows. Henderson talked about a feature known as ‘destructible environments,’ which allow players to cut or smash through particular barriers in order to sneak up on foes or ambush them when paired with the stealth gameplay of AC Red. Cool!
