We think it’s safe to say that Facebook is so popular that it doesn’t need any introduction. Everyone knows what this app does and why it’s considered as a “must-have” on all smartphones. However, the fact that Facebook has been downloaded and installed by more than one billion users doesn’t necessarily mean that it offers the best performances. In fact, the social media app is infamous for using up lots of hardware power and internal storage space. Fortunately, this is where Facebook Lite comes in and offers an alternative.
Introducing: Facebook Lite
For those who are unfamiliar with Facebook Lite, they should know that this is a lightweight version of the social media app. This means that Facebook Lite takes up less than 10MB of internal storage space and that it’s software has been optimized to consume lesser mobile data when loading the newsfeed and all other types of media files (pictures, videos).
Facebook Lite 18.104.22.168.116 Beta Update
Today we are talking about Facebook Lite because it has just received a new update. The update is changing Facebook Lite’s version number to 22.214.171.124.116 Beta and it introduces a bunch of software tweaks and bug fixes that are taking the performances of Facebook Lite to the next level.
As previously noted, the new update comes with a handful of software tweaks and bug fixes. This makes the new update a maintenance release and also a high priority download because while bug fixes might not be as impressive as new features, they are certainly more important because they improve the overall software stability of the social media app.
The last thing that we want to note about Facebook Lite’s update is that since it’s a beta release, not all Facebook Lite users can download it right now. The only ones eligible to get it via OTA (over the air) channels are those with beta accounts.
