MIUI 15 Availability: Over 100 Devices Set to Receive the New OS

Apparently, Xiaomi may bring MIUI 15 to more than one hundred different smartphones between the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024. Now, the big OS update is anticipated to take place this fall. If that turns out to be accurate, it could match the arrival of the new Xiaomi 14 and the Xiaomi 14 Pro. With the release of MIUI 15, official support will be discontinued for a number of well-known smartphone series (as expected, though). Take the Redmi K30, Redmi Note 9, and Redmi Note 10 smartphones, for example. If you worry about their MIUI 15 availability, don’t. They will all continue to run on MIUI 14, as will the Mi 10 series of devices.

Xiaomiui has compiled a list of devices that will be eligible for the upcoming software update for the firm, as well as those that will not. The list that has been posted below is said to be “99% accurate.” Check to see if the MIUI 15 update is compatible with your device here.

As previously said, there are rumors that Xiaomi is gearing up to introduce the Xiaomi 14 series in November. This is reportedly happening in part because Qualcomm has decided to deliver the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the month of November. Xiaomiui anticipates that Xiaomi will also discontinue almost a dozen POCO devices, which will leave 16 models that the company estimates will transition from MIUI 14 to MIUI 15. It is likely that worldwide versions of MIUI 15 won’t be available before early 2024 when the Xiaomi 14 series is released in markets outside of China.

What are your expectations of MIUI 15’s release? How about the next Xiaomi smartphones of the 14 series?

Based on previous events, Xiaomi will typically introduce a new major edition of MIUI concurrently with the launch of its principal flagship devices. As a result, it is probable that the business will 100 % unveil MIUI 15, even if initially it will most likely only be available in Chinese form.
